Every figure on this site is attributed to a named source and carries a verification date. Our principles:

Primary sources first. We prefer regulators and official bodies — the UK Gambling Commission, the American Gaming Association, iGaming Ontario/AGCO, the Macau Government/DICJ, EGBA and H2 Gambling Capital — over secondary aggregators.
Scope is stated, not hidden. Where a figure is commercial-only, online-only, or includes lotteries, we say so, and we do not force non-comparable numbers into a single total.
Ranges over false precision. Where credible estimates differ, we report the range and its source.
No unsourced statistics. If we cannot attribute a number, we do not publish it.
Dated and revisited. Each page shows when it was last verified; material updates are logged on the Corrections page.

We report on the gambling industry as data. Nothing on this site is advice to gamble, and we do not link to or promote any operator.
